Exquisite Hand Crafted Tribal Belt This is another of the incredible one of a kind 'high-charge' Bohemian Embroidered and Mirrored belt from the Banjara Tribe. This unique piece is made of cotton, and has a rows of vintage mirrors, bead work and coin work. In addition to the single row of mirrors in hand-embroidered frames, the piece has a nice lower border of old-style coins with scalloped edges, and a facing design of small metal sequins.
The mirrors are embroidered by claret and aubergine thread. The mirror themselves are vintage and reused - giving that perfect gypsy look. The trimming of the belt is decorated with drawn thread work - hemstitching. The belt is to be tied together at the back with two stands of cotton at each end. Each belt is entirely handmade and therefore very unique, we do not have 2 pieces that look exactly the same, the picture shown is only representative, the exact belt you will receive will have the same look but the detailing can be different.
